Year 5 and 6 Activity Days (Upper KS2)
The Problem Solving Company has worked alongside many Primary Schools running team building activities as part of their year 5 and 6 activity days. With Upper Key Stage 2 (KS2) being such an important time in Primary School our large range of activities are an excellent tool for preparing pupils for their time beyond Primary School.
Developing on pupils team skills we aim for pupils to become increasingly aware of others in their teams and the different roles that people bring to the team. As well as sharing ideas we help to explore compromise when establishing the teams plan on how to solve their team building activity challenges.
On a personal and team level we also aim for year 5 and 6 pupils to demonstrate perseverance on the task set. We often see teams state that a challenge is impossible, only to be delighted when they succeed after persevering with the activity.
Due to the large amount of activities for this age group we can offer short sessions or full activity days. This can be in class sized groups or larger numbers using our Challenge Carousel.
