The Problem Solving Company has visited thousands of Primary Schools to provide activities for maths days or weeks. We generally work with whole classes incorporating Reception, KS1 and KS2. If you are a one form entry school then it is possible to accommodate all 7 classes within one day.
We use our bespoke large puzzles on the school hall floor. For that reason there is no need for tables and chairs. We clear the space if the hall is used for lunch.
We create our days around individual schools needs. In the sidebar you will find an example timetable. This example is visiting a one form entry Primary School providing maths activity sessions for all classes.
If you are a two form entry school and are wishing for all classes to participate, we can suggest having two instructors for the day. However we will require two large spaces. Alternatively we can visit your school for two days in a row at a discounted rate.
The Problem Solving Company has a large range of activities that will suit maths activity days. When we re-visit schools each year we aim that repetition be avoided. We consequently, wherever possible, run different activities for each year group.
Other Options
Other Maths Workshops on offer are our Maths Puzzle Days and Maths School Escape Rooms.
