For many our Maths Problem Solving Days provide a yearly hands on fun experience in a subject that can get bad press! Our School Escape Rooms are another port of call with us now covering a huge array of subjects ranging from History to science. Lastly large numbers of UK schools start or finish the year with one of our Mobile School Team Building Days. Whatever combination of our day’s school book, their students will have a fun yet educational experience.

Puzzle Workshops For Schools
The Problem Solving Company has developed an impressive collection of maths activities and puzzles since its inception in 2007. The hands on nature of all of our activities provides a platform to encourage full participation from the keenest of mathematicians through to the reluctant learner. Whether it be our Maths Workshops, Puzzle sessions or our Escape Experience we often hear students saying it was the best maths lesson ever!
Visiting Cambridgeshire
We offer schools in Cambridgeshire Maths Problem Solving Workshops for Early Years, KS1, KS2 and KS3 and our School Team Building Activity days from Early years to KS4. All activity days are based on a large variety of problem solving activities and puzzles. These can be delivered to even the smallest of schools as we don’t only cater to schools in big cities.

We have tried a few pricing structures over the years that we have been running mobile team building days in schools. The firm favorite by schools is simply knowing the cost of an instructor and how many are coming to school. This way there are no surprises in what is being offered. The price you pay will be the same throughout Cambridgeshire. There are no additional costs except VAT which we legally have to charge. The good news is most schools get this back.
SEN Activities
We have on offer a wide range of team building activities for pupils with Special Education Needs. We find that our Challenge Carousel works well as there is no specified time for each challenge. This avoids any unnecessary time constraints. In turn this allows the pupils to explore and develop their ideas of what will work best. In addition The Challenge Carousel, with its 32 team building challenges, can be spread out across a field or even in different classrooms. This can help to create the correct environment for some SEN pupils to thrive.

Indoor & Outdoor Challenges
The beauty of our team building activities is that they can be run in so many locations in schools. Our equipment is weatherproof which allows our sessions to be run outside at any time of the year. We appreciate that not all weather conditions are suitable for a quality learning experience. We therefore are able to run all of our activities inside in large spaces such as halls and Sports halls. If this is not possible we can spread our activities out across smaller spaces such as classrooms.
